In the last issue, we talked about three problems that are prone to occur in floor springs: oil leakage, broken shaft and shaft surface grinding. In addition to these three, there are two other problems that are more prone to occur with floor springs.
Some common problems of floor springs - eccentric or empty axis
It refers to the deflection angle to one side or both sides of the door body when it is positioned at 0 degrees, and swings back and forth
1. Long door clip door: the lower seat (rocker-arm) of the floor spring is not firmly fixed, and the anti-swing screws at both ends are not firm; even the rocker arm is fixed with rivets, and the rivets are broken under strong conditions. The uneven force of the rocker's arm will cause eccentricity or virtual position. Many construction workers, in order to facilitate the construction, remove the screws. The accessories of the floor spring are exquisite, and they are all counterfeited on the market, so the lower seat screws must be used to ensure that the accessories and the door body are integrated.
2. The body of the floor spring is inclined to one side, and the door is also inclined like him, then adjust the screws on both sides of the body so that the door leaf is on the centerline.
3. Both sides of the shaft center of the floor spring are ground, and there is a gap between the door clip or the lower seat of the lower hand and the floor spring. Such floor springs are actually scrapped and must be replaced.
4. The upper seat of the upper hand, which rarely occurs, is deformed, and the door leaf is biased to one side. This is all caused by excessive torque and instantaneous strong external force. Coupled with the mismatch between the floor spring and the weight parameters of the door body, it may be deformed, especially in the instant of strong wind. If the swing arm is deformed, it can be corrected again or replaced with new accessories.
5. There is a margin for the angle when positioning at 0°. It can be positioned arbitrarily within a certain angle on both sides of the centerline. The installation time is not long. If the above four reasons are excluded within one year, it can be characterized as a quality problem. of.
Some common problems with floor springs - noise (abnormal noise, noise)
Refers to any strange noises that occur when opening and closing the door. Hearing the sound, people think that the floor spring is broken, but in fact, in most cases, the floor spring is the scapegoat, and it is not broken; and most of the sound is generated at the moment of the 90° or 0° switch.
1. On the small door clip door, the floor spring is used, but the small door clip is not used together, and another brand, cheap small door clip is used. The problem is that the shaft center of the floor spring is tapered and convex, and the connecting block with the small door clip is concave and tapered. They are perfectly designed and manufactured by the company, and they cannot be matched with others. The parameters are different.
If other door clips are used, there will be a sound. The reason is that most of the small door clip connecting blocks have large holes (inconsistent parameters). After installation, the door clip sits directly on the end face of the lower part of the shaft, resulting in gaps between the upper cone surface of the shaft and the door clip connecting block. The floor spring does not move synchronously, the door leaf is opened to 90 degrees, but the axis is only about 87 degrees. harsh. Because of the automatic homing at a small angle during positioning, there is a gap between the shaft center and the connecting block, which will cause a mutual collision and make a sound; in addition, the door body is not actually pressed on the shaft center, which belongs to air pressure, and its own sound when air pressure is positioned Superimposed, which is infinitely amplified by the door body, resulting in a very harsh noise. However, it is generally believed that the sound comes from the floor spring, but in fact, it is not matched. Only by ensuring the use of a small door clip can ensure that there is no sound.
In addition, the glass size is not standardized, the glass size is short, and the glass door is small. In order not to waste glass, we put something between the lower clip and the floor spring. Although the glass door is installed, the floor spring axis and the floor spring are left. The gap between the connecting blocks of the small door clip will produce a collision with each other and make a sound.
Sometimes the small door clip is used together, but there is still a little noise. What's the matter? Most of these are caused by insufficient installation levels, horizontal, horizontal and vertical non-standard. Loosen the small door clip screw, open and close the door several times, and then Just fasten the screws.
2. Grinding on both sides of the shaft, the resulting gap is similar to the harsh noise that the door clip does not match. The noise caused by grinding is not easy to solve. Grinding is equivalent to destroying the normal cooperation between the shaft and the door clip, and destroying the original appearance of the floor spring. Only by replacing the floor spring body can the noise be solved.
3. There is a noise when the floor spring is positioned at 90 degrees under no pressure. When a person stands on the floor spring, there is no sound when you try the switch again. What is going on? It is because of the groove on the camshaft at the lower end of the shaft. Slide in the positioning pin, the slamming sound generated by the automatic homing, because the inside is a closed room, the sound will be naturally amplified. If there is a gap in the supporting part of the shaft, the resonance sound generated will be harsh.

These five are the common problems and causes of floor springs. When there is a problem with your floor spring, don’t rush to replace it. You can find the corresponding cause according to the problem and deal with it. Sometimes a simple operation can make your floor spring The spring exerts its real strength. If you don't know how to operate it, you can ask professional personnel to repair it. Of course, a good floor spring product can reduce the occurrence of many unnecessary situations and prolong the service life of the floor spring.
